This piece is one-of-a-kind completely handmade and joined using solid Redwood with a pine back, pine drawer sides and bottoms. It is fabricated, joined and crafted using only non-power, hand tools. The case assembly uses through-mortises, dovetails, sliding dovetails and rabbets. The back is custom shiplap construction. The sides are fitted to the top with dovetails. The drawers are also hand dovetailed. Knobs on the drawers are custom shaped and fitted into drawer fronts. All hardware on the piece is solid brass. The inside back is finished with satin stark white paint. The back with flat black paint. The entire armoire has 5 coats of hand rubbed finish. The drawer interiors are left natural.
