This solid wood dresser is crafted from reclaimed redwood with a pine, custom shiplapped back, drawer sides and bottoms. It is fabricated, joined and built using only non-power hand tools, other than the radius found on the frame on the front of the case. The case assembly itself uses through tenons and  mortises, doweled rabbets and shiplap construction for the back. The drawers of the piece are hand dovetailed front and back. The knobs on the drawers are hand turned, painted and fitted into the drawer fronts. They are not removable, they are part of the piece. The entire dresser has 6 coats of hand-rubbed, oil-based finish which is very durable. The drawer interiors have been left natural.
