Hand Crafted Furniture

I'm Marc Springer, furniture maker. All of my furniture is crafted entirely by hand, using hand tools. There are no power routers, no table saws, no joiners, no band saws, no CNC machines. I design and craft one-of-a-kind pieces using traditional joinery techniques. All of my furniture and the parts used in it are solid wood. I do not use plywood, or veneers. Items are posted as they become available for sale.

Each Piece is Unique & Distinct

The wood is hand milled flat and square with hand saws and planes. It is joined and crafted using traditional joinery methods and techniques. Fasteners are only used to secure hinges and fasten the back of the piece. The entire piece is held together with wood joinery and glue. Hardware is typically solid brass. Final finish is either a plane finish or a hand sanding before application of 4 to 5 coats of hand rubbed finish.

Buying from Marc was a great experience all around. He answered my questions, sent me photos of the packing crate with instructions! This made it a breeze to unpack. The cabinet was wrapped very carefully in a blanket and bubble wrap, taped completely, and shipped in a custom-made wooden crate. I'm very excited to have such an heirloom-quality old-world craft, unique addition to my home. The joins are a pleasure to behold.
