Description
This bookcase is created entirely from reclaimed redwood. The sides, shelves, top and back are all solid redwood. It is fabricated, joined and crafted using only hand tools, other than the radius found on the case front. The case uses through mortises, rabbets and shiplap construction for the back. There are wooden patches over larger bore holes. The entire piece has 6 coats of hand rubbed finish. Interesting note, when it has books in it, it looks even better.
