Description
The cabinet is solid red cedar. There are 10 drawers and an open space for books or other object. This item is one-of-a-kind. It is completely hand made, using only traditional non-power hand tools and crafted of solid cedar with pine drawer sides and bottoms. The drawers are dovetailed front and back. The sides are fitted to the top and with dovetails and the case utilizes dadoed rails and stiles. Knobs on the drawers are hand turned from walnut one-by-one. The back is hand tongue and grooved. All hardware is solid brass. The inside and the back are finished with flat black paint. The entire cabinet has 5 coats of a hand rubbed oil/poly finish. The drawer interiors are left natural.
